Dominique Kwong has been active in the local Vancouver hardware development scene for many years, doing RF design, product engineering, leading engineering teams, and taking products through to manufacturing. Dominique played an instrumental role as director of hardware and manufacturing at Recon Instruments, helping to build Recon into one of the most successful hardware companies in the lower mainland, which consequently turned into one of the most successful hardware exits in recent memory when Recon was sold to Intel for $175 million. Most recently, Dominique joined Istuary Innovation Group as director of hardware engineering in a strategic hire. Dominique has a great deal of experience to share about what it takes to navigate the hard journey to volume manufacturing, and we are thrilled to welcome him as our keynote speaker.
